Isnt it already on the the desktop's HDD to begin with? If its not then its not really a backup, it's the original unless you call going from the camera flash memory the to any HDD making a "backup", most would call that a transfer. Seems like the terminology being used here is vague which is confusing the issue, at least for me it is.... jco
