Breaking it is by far my biggest fear. Not because of any sense of
damaged pride, but because the agents will tell me one or more of the
following:
1. parts are not available
2. parts are on route from Japan, will take 6/9/12/18 months
3. parts are $600.00
4. we can't fix it, here's your bag of bits minus two screws
I think my lens smelt fear when I started disassembling it. I really
did have the feeling that something was going to go dreadfully
wrong... it's all punishment for not using it enough.
