I use the 2 rear caps as well, but had the epoxie let go 20 years ago. (Yes, I had properly prepared the mating surfaces!) Since then, I've gone with duct (duc) tape arounf the edges. It works great and is easy to check if it is still holding tight. Regards, Bob S.
