Based on current technology I doubt that digital battery consumption
will decrease any time soon. There may be marginal improvements in circuitry,
however as the processing/memory requirements increase to handle a greater
pixel
density I would expect these, and any marginal improvements in battery life
to be
quickly overtaken.
