About 10 days ago I posted this "Super Deal" I got on a 28-70/4AL:

Only in this case it was "gassing out" thru a microscopic crack in the element, a diagonal crack just to the right of center. ;-( I removed the rear element and cleaned the white off, it seems to take better pics than my Vietnamese perfect looking one. Unfortunately it will need to be cleaned frequently as the line will return. I'll use it till it gets too bad and then: _I am done with 28-70 ALs!_ I wouldn't suggest anyone spend any decent money for one of these, apparently their time is up. ;-( Don
