Second print was of a stump with a beam of sunlight on it using

Beware that swapping between Photo Black and Matte Black will cost a
lot of ink as it has to purge the tube that runs from the ink
cartridge to the head. Apparently these printers can't just pump one
ink line so it ends up purging all eight tubes. It pays not to swap
blacks too often as it quickly gets expensive.

Indeed it does. I know of several people who actually bought two 4800's
to avoid this issue. Personally, I'd just use the Matte, but then I
despise glossy papers (Although Premium Luster is a beautiful semi-gloss
paper).
The print speed is quite fast. It churns out an 8x10 in just a
couple of minutes, the 13x19s are taking perhaps as long as 5 minutes.
That's pretty good... it may be even quicker if you turn the 8x10
sideways. I do this when printing A4 with my 2100. Actually I print
the long side across a 329mm roll but it works out the same - it's
significantly quicker than printing in portrait orientation.
