As sunset approaches, the Grand-Place fills with interesting people
spread around its edges eating and hanging out.
Mannekin Pis is a kitschy photo-op not too far away.
The art deco cafe Falstaff is a classic (great place to break for a
Chimay, too).
Rue des Bouchers (think that's the right one), just a few blocks from
the Grand-Place, is crammed with neon-illuminated restaurants. The
food can be good (but overpriced), however the visual scene is more
interesting. At dinner-time, the place is crammed with tourists and
the restaurant hosts all try to get them to sit down endlessly.
Stop in at Frite-Land (also off the Grand-Place) for fresh Frites!
Hope you get a chance to try moules-frites and Belgian beer. The
Belgians really know how to eat!
