I've used both the A35/2 and the FA35/2 on the istD.
Both are fine lenses. I'll trust Godfrey's comparison, I haven't really
compared that closely.
The 31/1.8 is a betterlens than either, but at the expense of expense, size
and weight. It also isn't hood friendly, though it doesn't seem overly flare
prone either.
Never used the K lenses mentioned.
