You have to watch out for that kind of wording. In the US some states
switch the meaning of felony and misdemeanor from what is usual. I
believe Texas is one of them. Also in that part of the world, cops kind
of make up laws to fit the alleged crimes, and people actually go to
prison for them. Believe me Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas are no place
you want to catch the police's attention unless you have lots of money,
because otherwise you will do hard time.
