With the amount of specular highlights in that shot, it wouldn't surprise me
at all.
OTOH, I've seen shots similar to this completely fall apart because of it.
Not everyone shoots Pentax glass.
That's what I was getting at; is your Optio lens with SMC, or one of
the others?
