I like it! The light, the shadow...it all works together quite
well. Is there some "dodging" going on by the head of the
pedestrian, or is that from the same flare of reflected light that
is illuminating the man with the sign?

There's possibly a little over-shoot on the dodging, but most of the
soft floating light is just flare from the rather harsh sunlight, the
signs, etc. I kinda like the light 'halo' effect, but I reduced it a
little bit for the 8x10 print I made.
