I'm sure you will enjoy your new printer. The 2100 is capable of
some fantastic prints if you use it regularly, and I can only assume
that the R2400 is even better with the new inkset.
My entire morning was spent cleaning out the waste ink sponge in my
Epson 2100. Contrary to the advice you find in discussion forums all
over the web, this is not the sponge that the head parks on. It is
buried deep in the bottom of the printer and requires a fair bit of
disassembly to reach.
My advice to anyone who considers doing this themselves... listen to
Epson and take it to a repair agent.
Wish I could afford a 9800 though: sometimes A3+ isn't quite big
enough ;)
