That's what I thought. I was just wondering if there was *something*
about M42 I'd missed...
The weird thing about this adapter is that is more then 1cm long (or
"deep", if you like.) You'd think that it would be a good idea to at
least make it as short as possible so you could at least focus at,
say, a meter or to a two, but no...
Cheaply made? I have two reverse ring adapters: the genuine pentax one
is far shorter than the no-name, giving less magnification, but more
options...
It's hard to tell exactly how cheaply, since it's such a simple unit in
any case - if you know what I mean. But I'm wandering if it may be a
case of a different adapter for M42 with something removed, and an
F-mount stuck onto it...
