Another late comment by me, but I'm quite happy that I looked at these. The second one, with the children on stage is nice, but really doesn't do that much for me. It's a competent photo, and (to me, at least) not much more. However, Wanda Sings for the First Time in Public is a wonderful photo! There's a look of wonderment and contentment on her face that is palpable. I think shooting her in profile works really well here, as does the tight framing.
