I'm surprised to hear that say that since you're a libertarian and all. <G> A tape measure race really isn't very exotic. The tape measure ends are hooked on the end of the track and then the tape measures are pulled out to their limit. They're then let go to see which one retracts (and therefore reaches the end of the track) first. I think the entertainment value is directly proportional to the amount of alcoholic beverages consumed prior to the race. Tom Reese
