I too use a Vosonic - a VP 3310. Not perfect, but very good. I had a few
problems with lost files - but that was due to a bad hard drive
(exchangeable). Today I'd prefer one with a image display. Not that I want
to watch the images - just to makes sure they are stored before formatting
my CF card. The battery is a little insufficient - downloads about 2GB
before recharging is necessary. I needd to buy a power supply that allows me
to recharge in the car (I shoot RAW exclusively).
I paid 300 USD for this in Germany. My fisrt got broke after one year (i
steped on the cord, ruining the connection). The importer repalced it with a
new one for a small fee.
A Flash Trax cost 100 USD more than the JOBO:

Epson makes very VERY nice one - but 780 USD!:

Good deal, bad? Opinions, please...

I had the previous version which was bad, bad, bad. Buttons were soft, ergo,
hard to push down. On and off button was the same. I couldn't always be sure
I
had it off. And it went belly up after a few uses. Menus on the LCD screen
were lousy.

This may be okay because it's a newer version, but I later got mine replaced
later with this that I like lots better:
