I suppose if we're going to be shooting air shows I'll bring
the long glass. That means I'll have to drive, rather than
take public transport :-(
What's parking like in the waterfront area? During fleet week?
I would not recommend parking *anywhere* in the city during such an event.
BARTing is very worth it. How big is this lens that you can't carry it? I
only have experience with my recently-acquired 500mm f4.5, but I think I can
handle dragging that thing along. I'll be using my monopod as a walking
stick, I think.
