They've got a lower-end body out now with a new Kit lens, price in the
same ballpark as the DS's list.

Konca/Minolta, Big body, but it feels good in the hands, (lots o'
buttons and dials), 1.5x crop, 6mp or thereabouts, some reviews have
said it had the best viewfinder in a mid priced DSLR, but I liked the
*ist-D's better. Price about 1.8-2K with kit lens. Looks like a good
camera if you own Minolta auto focus lenses.

I slightly prefer an in-camera anti-shake system, over the full-frame
sensor. Of course, having both would be wonderful. The full frame
sensor should also have a lot more megapixels, and still somehow keep
the cost down. I don't want to be stuck at 6.1 megapixels forever,
but I can't afford to buy one of the current full-frame-sensor
cameras made by the other manufacturers.
Does anyone else currently do anti-shake inside the camera body? I
thought the only systems currently available relied on special
anti-shake lenses?
take care,
