focus, manual exposure, manual film advance camera would be capable of
getting this series.
If I can read EXIF at all (probably not :-), this was taken with manual
exposure. Unfortunately the distance data are not available.
Manual exposure for a shot like this is simple: sunny 16 using the blue sky
as the basis for the exposure. Set it and forget it.
It's true that MF was used in the past for sequences like this (I usually
shoot birds in flight with MF), but I doubt very much manual film advance
could do 8fps.....
