Seeing as it seems too much for some folk to stomach, I'll just pipe up
and say that I like it.

To me, a piece of art evokes feeling and emotion. This piece is no
different. In me, it reminds me of the odd occasion as a child that I was
taken to San Francisco (we lived in Cupertino). I was always looking up
at the buildings, and there was always men in white shirts wandering
about, communicating with each other, usually using their hands - hence I
got an instant hit off this pic Frank. I like the hint of the security
bars and shutters. As an innocent child, I could only wonder what malice
these mechanisms warded against. If people put shutters up made of strong
metal, what on Earth were they guarding against? Were dinosaurs alive and
well and living amongst us, maybe at night? I knew nothing of the evil of
man at such an age. The wonders of the city, fleeting glimpses of things
and people whose purpose and significance I could only try and imagine.
It was as if I was watching a movie, yet i was there and walking through
it and past it, and would soon leave it for the relative safety of the
endless suburbs and leafy avenues that was home.

This picture stirs up lots of memories for me. Of course, for someone
living in the city, it might stir up totally different feelings and
emotions, or none at all.

It works for me Frank, and works very well. I would be proud to hang that
one on the wall.

[That's enough. - Ed]
