One big question is how much you are willing to spend. The DS is about as low as it is going to get. A great time to buy it. The D replacment will likely come in at a price point significantly higher - could be as high or higher than when it was introduced. Are you willing to spend $1500-$2000 USD for a body? If not, the DS is the one to get right now.
