Certainly does.  This happens to me with my work account.  The only place that 
I know my work address appears on the net is in the old archive pages of PDML, 
before the addresses were filtered.  The address I'm using now started after 
the filtering began and I get _no_ spam at all.  That may equally be due to 
aggressive filters at NTL [whoops! 8-)]

The junk I get at work is not so heavy as you but 40-50% is of the "your 
message is returned" variety.

I don't think there is any way of dealing with this except, as you say, 
changing your address (a number of people at work have done that when they were 
flooded as badly as you) or waiting until you are filtered by ISPs and the 
spoofs stop getting through.
