And, to drift this toward photographic relevance, I was surprised when
I paid a visit to Durst in Brixen/Bressano to find out that when they
weren't making enlargers and such they farmed out their metal
fabrication and painting facilities to make auto doors for Opel.
That's probably why they are surviving and doing well when other makers
of darkroom equipment are sinking.
