Also because there is no suitable train from Newcastle to London given the fact that Sunday, at 15:00 or so we are to be taking off for Israel... Finally, now that I've witnessed British traffic jams myself (or should I say with my own lower behind...), that would definitely add to the set of my experiences ;-)... Cotty, imagine in 50 years me sitting behind some ultra-electronic fireplace-o-matic telling my grand children that I actually sat in British traffic jams...
