This one was good ( its an ebay password scam, not a paypal password
scam ).
Anyway basically it was formatted to look just like an ebay "question
from seller" email
and said something to the effect "I am a Canadian and wish to purchase
several of your ebay items at same time, will you give a shipping
discount
for a multiple item purchase all shipped together?" when I saw this I
immediately responded with the usual link in the email and it took
me to the ebay login page ( or so I thought ), as I entered my ebay
password I got the ebay tools warning that it was a fraudulent site
and no harm was done but if I hadnt had the ebay tools installed I would
have gotten burned. BE CAREFUL and install the ebay password protection
tools, they work!

Don't know why, but didn't know about the password protection tools. Thanks!

I get bogus emails supposedly from Ebay/PayPal all the time. A lot go to
email addresses that I use for others things. Ones not registered with Ebay, so
I
know right away without looking that they are bogus. But I just delete all of
them as a matter of course.

I was not aware that identity thief crooks had gotten tricky enough for a
bogus question from seller form. Thanks for clueing me in about that too. I'll
be
careful in the future.
