I don't know just how much of this tirade is first person experience of just some usual whining and griping about something they know nothing about, but my son just got through with using ebay and paypal to resolve an issue with a seller and they worked very hard and arranged a 20% rebate since he wanted to keep the item .... in this case it was a refund of over $200 USD. I personally have never had a problem with paypal, over a period of over 5 years.
I always take such whining with a BIGGG grain of salt. Jerry in Houston <<However, the seller gets their paypal account jacked up in either case, and for a long, long time. They've got a huge backlog of complaints, and they don't respond to emails requesting information except by form letter. You can't reach them on the phone unless you have an hour to kill and don't mind hearing "I can't help you with that, I'm sorry you're disappointed" over and over again by minimum-wage no-nothings. Fun.>>
