Thanks for your comments on my shot.
I agree that it would have been better if I got there a bit earlier, but
that didn't work out on that night, and the next evening was rainy. The
sky had no distinguishing features, which is why I cut it out and tried
to include the reflections in the river, but I did not get as much of
the reflections as I had hoped. Next time I have a similar situation,
I'll try a shot with a large area of dark sky, as you suggested.

I love Prague, but in this picture all the buildings and bridges below
the castle are without other detail than random lights. I think it
would have been better with a large black sky above and the castle at
the bottom, as the city does not add anything here. Or even better,
you should have been there a little bit earlier, before all of the
light left the sky.
