The next day we went with my parents to see relatives and made various stops on Anglesey. One of the stops was Gwalchmai, the town where my father was born. His parents ran a pub/hotel, which is still there and still in business. The current owners were thrilled to meet someone who was born in their pub 75 years ago! They gave him one of their darts team's shirts and had him pose behind the bar.
