Hi Paul ... Higher resolution and a faster, bigger buffer make sense, shouldn't add bulk or weight to a camera. They are internal improvements that are essentially transparent, like putting a more powerful engine in an auto. It just goes about its job without a lot of interaction between it and the driver.
