I could be both. Last year I ordered 28-105 in a local shop and got it only after 4 months. It was nowhere to be found in their supply chain in Europe. Apparently it was a combination of increased demand and batch production so they had to wait for another batch. Even when they've got the lens, they received less of them than they ordered.
