After reading all the whining here about lens availability, I decided
to have a look at B&H. I found that quite a few lenses, including the
FA 35/2, are in stock. Many of the big glass, high dollar lenses are
still available special order (as was always the case). Some other
highly desirable lenses, like the 85/1.4 are back ordered, but
obviously still available. The FA 35/2 is on this page:
