Hi!
Thibouille, there a special "green" button *on top* of D that you have
to press in order to close the aperture and perform metering...
This is with updated firmware (standard in new bodies) isn't it?
I'm still on the 1.0 firmware with an early *istD body, and wondering
about updating.
John, that's correct - you'll have to upgrade the firmware to enable the
green button trick.
I've upgraded, to the 1.11 I think. The one which is one version behind
the very latest...
I am very happy with it. It just works and the whole upgrade process is
totally painless... Just follow the instructions and use fresh(ly
charged) set of batteries...
