BTW, has anyone heard of DNA showing that humands are a sub-species of
Chimp? Came across it in a SF story and wonder if there was any truth to
it or did the author make it up. Claim was that there is much more
variation in chimp's DNA than human's, and that human DNA only varied by
about three strands from the chimp's.
Nowhere near so much. Only a couple of percent difference between us,
chimps and orangutans.
