Was the thing still in warrenty when you first sent it in? If it was maybe you 
should just insist upon them giving you a new camera since they can not seem to 
repair it successfully.

I get very decent natural light photos from my istD, the flash is a bit hit and 
miss. The
nikon is
however a lot more reliable.

best to use manual metering. Now if it is misexposing in the more common
