Sir, it's unimportant for me to understand his later work, after the cubist period he started to become a hack living of
his reputation. There are many con artists in the world of art. I find it disturbing that people will pay large sums of money
to support them. It's more disturbing to see a man of great talent such as Picasso become one. I don't have to worship
someone's crap because they were once great. If you feel you have to that's your problem.

(The man never paid for anything using cash at the end of his life, he paid by check, the checks were rarely cashed, his signature was worth too much).




I wish mine was worth that much. I'd do the same thing.
