A bit overkill perhaps, since it is a generic disk utility, but ...
You can use my DFSee tool for that purpose, as long as the
CF card is recognized as a disk under the operating system.
(Windows-NT through XP, OS2 or Linux are supported)
It has a secure wiping method that will write multiple passes
of data, some passes using random patterns:
File -> Open object to work with -> Disk -> .. select CF card ...
Actions -> Erase, wipe selected areas -> SECURE wipe current object
It is a text-mode utility, but does use a menu system,
and it is SHAREWARE:
