Hi Pentax lovers I will start a series showing you samples of the photos I take for a friend of mine working in the tourist branch with excursions to the absolutely nicest places in Switzerland -- > www.bestofswitzerlandtours.ch .
So far, the Pentax 35-70mm A zoom worked very well, but I will exchange it against the Pentax A50mm macro and the M28mm for the next trip starting tomorrow for Lucerne and Mt. Pilatus. The reason is that I have to take quite a few shots through the front window of the car and trough the window inside the cable car. To not get any reflections despite using a Pol filter, I will have to press the lens directly on the window and use a rubber hood to protect the lens and prevent further unwanted light reflections. Since I do not have a hood for the 35-70mm A zoom (anybody knows which one fits for that?) and in hope of even slightly better quality, I will primes this time and only carry the small M 75-150mm zoom as a reserve. Nicely, it has the same filter size as the 50mm and 28mm. So I will use the following equipment: Pentax P30 with Pentax A24mm and hood Pentax SFXn with Pentax A50mm macro and rubber hood and polfilter and the M28mm 2.8 Monopod and AF280T Flash (really needed for people shots in the bright sunlight) only ISO 200 film this time, I need the DOF and the light reserve later in the evening. A set of filters like ND, Skylight, diffuser I received the first four rolls of film - digital user will have a good laugh now - the scanning takes a lot of time, nearly a day in best quality from the negatives. Here is a first sample from Mt. Saentis, much more to come in the next days form Mt.Saentis, Appenzell and the tour: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=3374423&size=lg comments and critics are always very welcome. greetings Markus
