sounds like a low light focus problem.

Back from an overnighter to Denver.
I find that images shot at higher ISO numbers are noticeably softer. No one else has ever mentioned it on any list I've seen. Is it just my camera? Or is everyone else just not bothered by it? Onscreen it is not so noticeable. Enlarged prints show it clearly.
