I like it, Frank. Had it been mine I think I would have tried to do something to bring out his face a bit and maybe dampened the highlights to his wrist. I also think a bit more (dark) space above and to the left of the picture, as well as tighter crop to his elbow to the right, would have made the picure geometrically stronger. (Does the neg allow for a bit more of this?)
(I recall another photo of a bass player recently that I thought was hinting at more interesting (to me) music shots by you.
