G'day Dario. I'm not sure that this will help, but I'll post it anyway (WARNING: 50 shots in this gallery):
http://tinyurl.com/do2yx These were all shot with the *ist D using the AF500 FTZ flash (except the last 10), 28-105 4.5-5.6 PZ (for about the first half), 31 & 77 Ltd's for the rest. Shooting distances between 1-5 metres with the flash angled at 75 degrees. In regards to recycling times. I was shooting & f8 for the first 14 & f5.6 for the rest of the flash shots & I didn't have to wait for the flash to recharge once. There's nothing special here, these are just a series of shots documenting a family get together. BTW this is my fave of the lot: http://tinyurl.com/8sj6b Dave S PS I'm in IMGP2368. Hard to miss, I'm the one the stoopid expression <g> On 5/12/05, Dario Bonazza <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Sylwester Pietrzyk wrote: > > > Dario Bonazza wrote on 12.05.05 14:11: > > > >> My question has nothing to do with AF400T and P mode. > >> My question mainly deals with AF500FTZ (or AF360FGZ, or built-in flash) > >> and > >> Av mode, for using fast apertures in order to increase flash range and/or > >> reduce flash recycling. > > Well Dario, I think it is not applicable to AF360FGZ, which works in > > pre-flash P-TTL mode and doesn't have any problems with fast apertures - I > > tried it with f1.7 and everything was just OK.
