Huh? I find them pretty appaling. Fortunately they didn't march trough the city nor near the Soa memorial. Perhaps it would be best to not give them any media coverage at all, that's a tough question...
I think the best media coverage for them is bars, steel bars... Steel is a media of sorts...

Actually, Sparrows in Berlin are quite bold - they even attacked a snack in our hands when we weren't looking, grabbing quite a chunk of it!
Now that you mention it I recall. Moscow had the same problem :). And squirrels too :).
