OK, I've had enough. The Craposcan is going. Maybe it's just me but I've run out of patience.
And I've just got a job that will entail scanning about 1000+ mounted slides, so I just _have_ to buy a new one. On someone else's budget. 8-) So, if anyone in the UK wants a Canoscan 2700F for a nominal sum (I think we are talking three figures but only just) let me know. I will supply up to date drivers, Canon software and, if I don't need it for the new one, a SCSI card and cable. Might even have the original packing and manuals. WRT the possible new purchase - any recommendations for a scanner to batch large numbers?
