Singing hymns actually. The even was a street sermon, they had a small brass band (really poor) which would lure people out onto the street to see what the racket was then when enough people were in view that would launch into a god fearing sermon over a loud-speaker. A really unusual occurrence around where I live, so they ended up with a lot of curious onlookers. I hope that helps context wise, I was amused by the three at the front staring at their texts whilst walking. On 8 May 2005 at 11:51, Jens Bladt wrote: > Interesting. The coats, well sometimes we have to wear them mid winter, too cold for shorts then too :-) On 8 May 2005 at 10:23, William Robb wrote: > What were they protesting? They were telling everyone that they were going to go to hell actually. Never seen them around before, they must have raided St. Vincent de Paul shops for dowdy 50's garb though, it sure was a sight. I must admit too that when they had their heads out of their texts they didn't seem all too fussed with me stealing their souls with my *ist D. Thanks for the comments.
