Some people might be of the opinion that U.S citizens pay more than enough tax dollars to support Israel as it is - without Israeli citizens dodging import duties that could help to relieve the burden on long-suffering American taxpayers.

Import duties go to the treasury of Israel, unless there is something very basic I am missing here.


Then again, Israel was just an example simply because I live here.

I can hardly believe that if someone on the list sends me the lens I buy from them via USPS instead of EMS, the American taxpayers will suffer longer yet.

Now, if you see it appropriate, you can always take this talk to off-list with me.
