I have finally received my brand new, boxed Tokina AT-X 2.6-2.8/28-70mm lens from a USA ebay dealer.
I damaged my old one in 2001 and never got it to work right again (even though I paid 200 USD to get it repaired - :-(. This one's perfect. Including taxes, it cost me 350 USD. That's actually quite expensive, but I think it's worth it. When I got my first one in 1999, the list price here was above 1000 USD. Now, I got a new one for half of what I paid 6 years ago.
