Winter, spring, life, death, rebirth, metaphor, allegory ... think in terms of tension, of imperfection reflecting life, of yin and yang. Does the path lead somewhere or away from somewhere, or does it represent a line between transitions. Landscapes and nature photography (flowers, trees, birds, waterfalls, etc.) have no need to be interpreted. They are more or less representational, reflecting what the photographer has seen.
