It has a very cold look to it (not a bad thing or a good thing, just an observation). I really like the way the reflection is broken up by the branches on the bottom and the ripples on the top. Well composed, nice balance.

Getting that effect was more or less luck. I snapped the picture at just the right moment to get the ripples at the top of the frame before the breeze made it all the way to the bank. I've gone back there several times hoping to get some similar pictures, but I think the odds are pretty slim of getting the lighting, the clouds, and the still water with the occassional breeze all at the same time again. As we get further into spring, this bank will become largely inaccessable as the undergrowth gets thicker, and the water will start to get choked with algae.
