Hello Godfrey, I like the capture of the little boy and I think it is important to show that he is holding someone's hand. So compositionally I mostly like it. I do wish I could see his other hand - I know that may have forced you to show too much, but it does seem like it is halfway there. Either a tighter crop on his head and hand with adult (upper third of the frame) or perhaps just a touch looser.
The B&W treatment seems mixed for me.
