who says they are grabbing market share? selling as many as they can make isn't the same as selling as many as they ought to make. film SLR sales are dropping faster than expected for all manufacturers. film sales is dropping faster than expected too. i don't think there will be a medium format market left in 5 years, with the possible exception of Hasselblad, and i think that is a remote chance. a company with limited resources can't take too many risks, and spending a lot of money on the 645D in a rapidly shrinking market is doing that.
