Bruce, thanks for your comments. If you check past PUG's you'll see that I did something along those lines. It was titled "North Face" - taken with a 600mm (on film). Got published as the first place winner in the annual Alaska Magazine photo contest. That bright peak BTW is Mt Mckinley (Denali). North Face is in fact a feature of Denali on the north side. I've been to Denali numerous times & with the weather there as it is, a totally clear morning shot as posted is somewhat rare in my experience. thanks for taking the time.
